ANA To Acquire 48 New Narrowbody Aircraft

The board of All Nippon Airways has approved a planned acquisition of 48 new narrow body aircraft.

An order for 30 Boeing 737 MAX 8s will be used to replace Boeing 737-800s currently in service with ANA. A seperate order with Airbus will be placed for 18 A320NEOs to operated by the airline’s low cost subsidiary Peach.

ANA placed an initial order for 7 A320NEOs and 23 A321NEOs in July 2014.
